OUR STORY

JaChi Lenz Studios Inc.® was founded in 2016 by Chiyelu Dallah-Hodges with a singular focus: delivering visual content that commands attention and builds lasting brand authority.

What began in Johns Creek, Georgia—serving professionals and businesses across the Atlanta metropolitan area, including Alpharetta, Buckhead, Suwanee, and Cumming—quickly evolved into a multi-market studio operation. By 2017, JaChi Lenz Studios Inc.® had expanded its scope to include corporate event coverage, podcast production, and social media content strategy for small businesses. In 2018, the studio extended its footprint into Florida and California, providing photography and videography services across Tampa, Sarasota, Orlando, and Dana Point—laying the foundation for the national reach that defines the studio today.

Like many businesses, JaChi Lenz Studios Inc.® navigated the unprecedented disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Operations slowed, the industry shifted, and the landscape of professional photography changed overnight. Rather than simply waiting for normalcy to return, Chiyelu Dallah-Hodges used that period intentionally—pausing, evaluating, and making a deliberate strategic decision about the future direction of the studio.

What emerged in 2022 was a reborn and sharply focused JaChi Lenz Studios Inc.®

The rebrand was not reactive—it was purposeful. The studio shed the broad generalist model and made a definitive commitment to the corporate and executive market: professional headshots, executive portraits, team photography, corporate event coverage, conference photography, trade show coverage, and commercial visual content. Every service, session, and client relationship is now built around one core mission—helping professionals and organizations show up at the highest visual level possible.

The Name Behind the Studio

JaChi Lenz Studios Inc.® carries a name rooted in love, legacy, and purpose. “Ja” honors Jacqueline—Chiyelu’s mother, her earliest champion, and the woman who recognized a gifted eye long before the world did. “Chi” is the nickname she has carried her whole life. Together they form JaChi—a permanent tribute to the woman who saw the photographer before the photographer saw herself.

Jacqueline passed away in 2015, just one year before the studio that bears her name was officially launched. Her belief never wavered. From Chiyelu’s earliest years, she encouraged the pursuit of photography and computer graphics with the conviction of someone who already knew how the story would end. JaChi Lenz Studios Inc.® is the fulfillment of that vision—built in her honor, carried forward in her name, and committed to the excellence she always expected.
